Biography:

The POD Squad POD- has a passion for lifelong health, fitness and well-being and through his experience as a high-level athlete and experienced athletics coach uses athletics as the vehicle to implement this passion. POD with the help of a dedicated team has developed the POD squad over the past 25 years (a successful athletics squad that competes on amateur and professional circuits ) with an inclusive and caring culture that nurtures athletes of all abilities, both genders and all ages (juniors to masters). POD has coached numerous National and State champions along with 4 Stawell Gift winners and many other professional and amateur winners' successes. POD believes that nothing sustains motivation better than belonging to a caring nurturing Squad, it transforms the personal quest into a shared one and forms an environment that celebrates and enjoys each other's successes no matter how big or small. The essence of friendships and belonging to a community positively assist with behaviours and habits that last over the long run. The POD squad has a very successfully structured sprint training program with experienced coaches and mentors that have produced many winners. This philosophy enables members to attain fitness and health. The POD squad has amongst its ranks, its own Allied health professionals - physiotherapists, osteopaths, psychologists, massage therapists, strength and condition coaches and pilates instructors. The POD Squad offers the tools, facilities, programs and processes with experienced coaches to ensure members are at their best when it counts. Enabling them to achieve their aspirations and goals.
