REGISTERED TRAINERS

The VAL has about 50 registered trainers located around Victoria. The League has trainers located in most regional centres (eg Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Wangaratta, Albury) and most suburban areas of Melbourne.

Athletes who would like to contact a trainer to see if they can assist with their athletic development can contact the VAL office for details.

Trainers registered with the VAL enjoy a range of benefits including:

* Free entry into all VAL meetings
* Eligibility for stable premiership trainers trophy
* Eligibility for percentage of prizemoney where offered
* Guarantee that stablemates will not be drawn in the same heats
* Eligibility to represent runners on the day regarding appeals and protests.
* Eligibility to meet and have appointments with handicapper.
